Ready to experience the great outdoors? The Vélomaritime, a 100% continuous cycle route, invites you and your family or friends to discover the extraordinary heritage of northern France… on two wheels!
The route starts in Roscoff in Brittany and ends in Dunkirk, on the Belgian border. This cycling itinerary gives pride of place to the coastline, crossing legendary sites such as the Pink Granite Coast, Mont-Saint-Michel and its bay, the D-Day landing beaches, the cliffs of Étretat, the Baie de Somme and the Opal Coast. Each stage has its own surprises! With a large proportion of shared-use routes, this is an ideal cycling route for cyclists looking for an escape, a challenge, and cultural and gastronomic discoveries. Not used to cycling? Then take this opportunity to get back in the saddle! From the back of Le Robinson campsite you have direct access to the vélomaritime.
We’re on the Port en Bessin – Grandcamp Maisy route, equidistant from the Pointe du Hoc and Arromanches (about 20km). The Vélomaritime® runs alongside the Robinson river.
